Luncheon Reservation Policy
Due to ongoing interest in our luncheons, we are finding the numbers of those attending increasing and often at the very last minute. As a courtesy to our respective caters, we have found it necessary to put into place a policy and practice regarding monthly luncheon reservations. This action is based on the fact that we are required to give the caterers a number of those attending a few days in advance of the luncheon.
Policy & Practices
Deadline to Register
As a result of the new practice and policy, the luncheon registration deadline is 12:00 pm the Monday prior to the event. After this time all reservations received will be put on a wait list. Should a seat become available prior to the luncheon the wait list will be called in the order of the reservations received.
Non Paid No-Shows
If a reservation has been made for someone and they do not attend, the Chamber is still invoiced by the caterer for their meal. Non-Paid non-attending registrants will be invoiced for the meal they ordered; this invoice will include an additional cost $10.00 invoicing fee to cover the administrative costs of billing.
Wait List (available to members only)
We understand from time to time members fail to meet the registration deadline. If this happens members are encouraged to call the office and be place on a waiting list. Should a spot open we will call those on the wait list i the order their requests were received. All wait list calls will be made no later then the day before the event. If those individuals on the wait list who have not received a call to confirm an open spot has been assigned to them may have the option of attending the luncheon as a walk-in. If they have called to be placed on the wait list they will be assigned a wall-in waiting member that proceeds walk-ins that have not called.
We are pleased that our members and guest enjoy our events. However, at the event, as our final numbers have been turned into the caterer, we cannot guarantee a meal and seating to those individuals not pre-registered. Should a seat become available, walk-ins will be seated on a first come first serve basis after all pre-registered guests have been seated.
Reservation Cancellation Policy
Should you not attend the event in which you registered, a cancellation must be received 24 hours in advance to avoid being invoiced.
Prepaid reservations cancelled 24 hours in advance will be issued a credit for future events
Thank you for your understanding and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the office. (317)804-3030
